Event Details

Figure skating is the most watched Olympic sport and for good reason! The intense technical precision of steel blades on ice, blended with the artistic nuance of dance makes for a super fun experience. Now you will have a chance to get a taste of what it takes to begin. With a little determination, knowing the right techniques, and a little practice, learning how to figure skate can be easy and a lot of fun. Whether your goal is to skate backward, spin really fast, or just feel more comfortable skating on outdoors parks, this class will show you the basics.

Special Notes:

  1. You must have your own figure skates to bring to this event.
  2. Please arrive 15 minutes early to get your skates on the way you’d like before instruction. Figure skating instruction begins at 2:00pm.
