Try Hockey for Free!
Join us for an exciting two-hour event on the ice!

  • 4:30–5:30 PM: Open skate for everyone—bring the whole family! All abilities are welcome to enjoy this hour of free skating.
  • 5:30–6:30 PM: Try hockey! The rink will be split into two areas: one for sled hockey, designed for players with disabilities, and the other for stand-up hockey, focusing on learning to skate and the basics of hockey.

You’re welcome to bring your own skates and helmets. Ice skates and equipment will also be available for those who need them. The concession stand will be open for snacks and refreshments.

Stay after the event to cheer on the Copper City Hockey High School Team as they face off against the Bozeman Icedogs—it’s a game you won’t want to miss!

NEW this year! Snoflinga and Ability MT are teaming up to ensure people with disabilities can participate in the activities. This includes providing equipment for mobility needs and/or adaptive coaching methods. If you’re unsure whether these activities are possible for you, please complete the assistance request form before registering to explore ways we can remove barriers to participation.
