Event Details

Try hockey for free! Half of the rink will be learning hockey, including sled hockey for players with disabilities, while the other half will focus on regular able-bodied attendees to learn to skate and the basics of hockey. You’re welcome to bring your own skates and helmets. Ice skates and equipment will be available for those who do not have them. The concession will be open.

Schedule:

  • 4:30–5:30 PM: Open skate with everyone.
  • 5:30–6:30 PM: Split ice for sled hockey and stand-up hockey.

NEW this year! Snoflinga and Ability MT are teaming up to ensure people with disabilities can participate in the activities. This includes providing equipment for mobility needs and/or adaptive coaching methods. If you’re unsure whether these activities are possible for you, please complete the assistance request form before registering to explore ways we can remove barriers to participation.
