Step into a softly glowing winter evening and enjoy SNöFLINGA’s Enchanting Winter Gathering at Clark Park, featuring lights, community, rhythm, and warmth. Clark Park will be illuminated with light-adorned trees, ice luminaries, glowing pathways, and cozy fire pits. A welcoming space to explore and enjoy at your own pace, with a few games sprinkled throughout.
Throughout the evening, the illuminated trails are complemented by IlluminDance, a short, optional community circle dance illuminated by SnoFlinga flashlight lantern torches and accompanied by live West African rhythms from Butte’s own Michael McDaniel. IlluminDance is a celebration of dance, light, rhythm, and spectacle, with dancers and a puppet from IlluminDance Theatre. Feel free to bring your own lighted props or costuming to add to the magic.

- First, sign Your Waiver. Begin at the Florence Street Gazebo. All Questers must sign a waiver before participating in any Quest activities.
- Meet the Quest Master ⭐ Proceed to the SW corner of the Copse to receive Quest instructions and a Star sticker, which officially enables you to begin the Quest.
- Meet the Fire Keeper Warm up at her glowing Fire Bowl (SW corner in tree grove).
- Borrow a SnoFlinga Lantern 🔥 From the Fire Queen (SW corner in tree grove).
- Join the Community Circle Dance 🥁 Dance with live drumming by Mr. Michael McDaniel at 6:00, 6:30, and 7:00 pm (center of the grounds).
- Consult a Snow Queen ❄️👑 Ask about her magical bracelet—she may even let you try it (roving, primarily near the SE corner).
- Fly with the Winged Ones 🕊️ Can you move like they do? Roving magic, primarily near the SW corner.
- Learn the Secret Password 🦌 From the Antlered Ones (roving along the East side).
- Request Wishing Dust-A small pinch from the Dark Queen (SE garden).
- Answer a Riddle with the Hunter 🧩
- Test your wits with the Hunter and his mischievous minion (SE garden).
- Test Your Aim 🎯 Launch stale marshmallows at a target with the Hunter and his mischievous minion (SE garden).
- Try to Tame a Dragon 🐉 On the volleyball court (NE corner).
- Steal a Feather from the Phoenix 🐦🔥 If you’re quick enough! (Red shelter near the volleyball court, NE section).
- Visit the Giant Puppet Petting Zoo 🪄 Meet Horace the Owl 🦉 and Seymour the Fish 🐟 for photos and gentle interaction (North side of the circle, near the bench).
